How long can you preserve an egg?
A year ago I preserved a batch of eggs. Actually, it was 1 year and 3 months ago to be precise.
We’ve been on a journey of raising some of our own food, as we discover more and more the lack of quality and nutrition found in a lot of the foods we have been most served over our generations life time. What has this meant? An increase in a smattering of health issues like heart disease, cancer, diabetes, obesity, and a list of other uncomfortable (to say the least) auto-immune diseases.
Has it been a lot of work? Yup. But, very rewarding, and if nothing else, the education I wish I would have gotten growing up in the public education system.
Where does my food come from? The grocery store…..well…..let’s dig deeper.
It’s amazing once you start to dig deeper into your food sources, your appreciation for that food increases, and your interest into how that food affects you increases. This is the part where you start taking your health into your own hands. Go get it!
Now watch me take my health into my own hands by eating a 15 month old egg!
